Amanda L. Miranda

Amanda, a founding principal, specializes in employer immigration compliance, civil insurance defense in Missouri, and workers’ compensation defense in Missouri and Illinois.

Amanda serves as the head of the firm’s employer immigration compliance department. In that capacity, she implements and reviews compliance plans for corporate clients, and assists in training human resources personnel how to implement I-9 procedures and conform hiring practices to state and federal immigration laws. She also focuses on E-Verify compliance issues, and counsels clients on the importance of balancing employer immigration compliance with state and federal non-discrimination and diversity laws. Amanda previously served as a council member of the Immigration Law Committee of the Missouri Bar.

Amanda assists in the management of the firm’s civil litigation and workers’ compensation departments, with experience in the settlement and litigation process. In her workers’ compensation defense practice, she handles all levels of cases. She has extensive experience performing all phases of the trial and appellate process.

Amanda serves as the firm’s liaison to the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan St. Louis. She is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and Hispanic National Bar Association.
