Eric S. Christensen

Eric, a principal, specializes in defending workers’ compensation matters throughout Missouri. Eric also has considerable civil litigation experience handling various types of cases.

Prior to joining Early & Miranda, P.C., Eric was an associate at the firm of Lashly & Baer, P.C., where he helped represent Missouri hospitals in a pending multi-million dollar lawsuit against the tobacco industry. While at Lashly, Eric defended workers’ compensation claims on behalf of the St. Louis Public Schools, Wendy’s/Arby’s Group, and Applied Underwriters, and represented plaintiffs and defendants in various types of civil litigation. Before going to Lashly, Eric was an associate at Simon & Early, P.C., where he worked closely with Maurice Early and Amanda Miranda in defending employers and insurers against workers’ compensation claims.

Eric has litigated numerous denied claims before the Missouri Division of Workers’ Compensation and argued appeals before the Missouri Labor and Industrial Relations Commission and the Eastern District Court of Appeals. He provides counsel to employers and insurers regarding compliance and risk management issues under the Missouri Workers’ Compensation Act. Eric values frequent and meaningful communication with his clients as essential to best serving their unique needs.

Eric is a member of the American Bar Association, The Missouri Bar, and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. He serves on the scholarship committee and board of directors of Kids’ Chance, an organization that provides scholarships to the children of severely injured or deceased workers.
